LOUIS KNOBBE HONORED BY THE AMERICAN JEWISH COMMITTEE WITH A LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Louis Knobbe, founding member of Orange County-based Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the United States, is the recipient of the Judge Learned Hand “Lifetime Achievement Award” from The American Jewish Committee (AJC) of Orange County. The AJC will honor Knobbe and present the award at a special luncheon on Friday, March 16 at the Irvine Marriott Hotel.

The Judge Learned Hand Award was established in memory of Judge Learned Hand who served as Senior Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit from 1924-1951. The award is presented to outstanding leaders in the legal profession who continually exemplify high principles and success. Knobbe is being honored for not only his exceptional achievements throughout his life in both personal and professional spheres, but also because of his continual involvement in cultural and community activities reflecting the values of AJC.

“I am truly honored to receive such a prestigious award,” said Knobbe, who has been actively involved in supporting the Orange County community throughout his legal career.

Established in 1906, the AJC is the oldest human rights organization in the country. Their mission is to protect civil rights, support a pluralistic, tolerant society and safeguard and strengthen Jewish life worldwide. More information about AJC can be found at ajc.org.
