NED ISRAELSEN VOTED ONE OF TOP SAN DIEGO COUNTY ATTORNEYS
Ned A. Israelsen, Managing Partner of San Diego’s leading Intellectual Property firm, Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear, has been chosen as one of San Diego’s top attorneys. Ned was chosen based on his outstanding contribution to the firm’s development and success, as well as his overall experience in intellectual property matters.
The list of one hundred was compiled as a result of a vote amongst his peers that began last April. Those that made the list are commended for their high caliber of work and dedication. The nominations were split into six pre-selected categories of Corporate/Business, Municipal/Government, Real Estate/Construction, Labor/Employment and Criminal, which accurately reflect the mix of law practices in the San Diego area.
“It is an honor to be recognized for my work and to be listed among such accomplished individuals,” said Israelsen. In June 2003, Israelsen was also named, by Euromoney Legal Media Group, one of the top patent law experts in the Guide to the World’s Leading Patent Law Experts.
Israelsen received his Juris Doctorate from George Washington National Law Center in 1981, where he graduated with high honors in the top 10 percent of his class. Prior to joining Knobbe Martens, Israelsen served as a law clerk and technical advisor to the Honorable Jack R. Miller of the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, which has jurisdiction over all patent appeals in the United States. Israelsen’s clients include venture-financed startup companies; newly-public companies; major biopharmaceutical companies; not-for-profit institutions and educational institutions; and governmental research organizations.
Israelsen is presently a member of the San Diego Intellectual Property Law Association (SDIPLA) and the San Diego Bar Association. Israelsen is also involved in Connect.
