The firm's San Diego office has moved to newly renovated and larger offices at 12790 El Camino Real. The move to Del Mar Heights allows the firm to better serve its clients in the region as well as accommodate the firm's rapid growth. Knobbe Martens' new office is in close proximity to the firm's growing client roster, which includes venture capital, biotech, medical device, health sciences, electronics, and semiconductor industries. The office was opened in 1984, and has now expanded to over 60 lawyers and six scientists and engineers, all of whom hold technical degrees. The firm's San Diego office includes the largest biotech patent practice in San Diego, and also includes specialists in key technical areas such as telecommunications, software, and medical devices. The San Diego office provides full service for the firm's clients in all areas of intellectual property law, including litigation, patents and trademarks, licensing, venture capital due diligence and related client counseling.
