Shannon Kenealy Carter, Ph.D. is an associate in our San Diego office.  She specializes in intellectual property law, with an emphasis on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the fields of biotechnology, genomics, and pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Carter received her Doctor of Philosophy in Human Genetics from Vanderbilt University for research related to the genetic susceptibility of multiple sclerosis. 

Dr. Carter joined the firm in 2008.
