Melnick is a partner in our San Diego office. Dr. Melnick obtained his Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of California at Davis in 2002 for his work on methanol electro-oxidation. At U.C. Davis, he participated in the Institute for Transportation Studies for the promotion of fuel-cell technologies. Dr. Melnick received a dissertation fellowship from the National Science Foundation to pursue his research. While in law school, Dr. Melnick was a judicial extern to the Honorable Charles R. Breyer, District Court Judge, United States District Court for the Northern District of California. He also participated in the East Bay Community Law Center and the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. Dr. Melnick joined the firm in 2003 and become partner in 2009.
