Lawyers in the firm protect and enforce their clients’ IP rights around the world, or assist foreign companies in protecting and enforcing their clients’ IP rights in the U.S. Associates are encouraged to participate in the firm’s international practice and have the opportunity to do so early in their careers.

To facilitate its international practice, many of the firm’s lawyers regularly visit Europe and Asia, cultivating relationships with foreign law firms and businesses. In addition, the firm employs several lawyers and patent agents who are licensed in other countries, including the U.K., Japan and Korea. The firm also employs bilingual or multilingual support staff.
